MLM Packaging Sdn Bhd is Malaysia’s leading paper bag manufacturer. We produce all kinds of paper bags in different sizes, using mainly brown recycled paper, bleached kraft paper, art paper, and art cards. These bags can be in standard design or customized design.
Our company was founded in 1993 with a staff of only three individuals. As an agency for customer-tailored products, including general printing and paper bags, we began our journey and continuously evolved over time. By 2003, our staff had grown to ten employees. In 2004, we reached a significant milestone with our first international order from a buyer in Germany. Subsequently, we were awarded the Quality Management System ISO 9001 certification in 2005, and in the following year, we installed in-house production machinery, including an auto-die cutter and OOP film laminating machinery.

Participation in the International Trade Fair of Paper World Frankfurt, Germany, between 2006 and 2010 and establishment of Asiapak Pte Ltd, Singapore, our first overseas marketing office, in 2010, gradually cemented our position in the industry.
In 2013, we relocated to new facilities that harmoniously integrated factory and warehouse under one roof.
Our accomplishments continued to pile up as we secured over thirty supply contracts, through Singapore Government’s e-procurement platform – GeBIZ, in the following year. We also streamlined our operations to specialize in customizing paper bags and packaging boxes in 2016.
In subsequent years, we intensified our attention on fostering long-term partnerships with customers and suppliers. In line with this, we snagged a 60% ratio re-order from the same single customer within a single financial year in 2018.
With zero retrenchment from 2020 to 2022, our company weathered the pandemic successfully. As a testament to our efforts, we received the Sustainability Certification FSC chain of custody in 2022.
In alignment with our five-year master plan, spanning from 2023 to 2027, we aim to fortify our brand and nurture a corporate culture. We will also imbibe environmental, social, and governance (ESG) values in all our supplying and manufacturing processes.
As part of our sustainability efforts, we are proud to announce that we are installing solar panels at our factory. This initiative will result in an annual reduction of 76 tonnes of carbon emissions. By harnessing solar panel-generated electricity, we will be able to significantly reduce our reliance on non-renewable energy sources and decrease our environmental footprint.
